When it comes to embracing the timeless charm and elegance of Indian handwoven sarees, no one does it like Rekha. The veteran actress often picks some of the most stunning sarees for her outings and makes beautiful statements. For her recent outing, she opted for a handwoven chartreuse Banarasi Kora silk sari with gold and silver zari by Manish Malhotra.
The designer took to his social media to share glimpses of Rekha in her chartreuse saree. The actor was seen striking some stunning poses in her Manish Malhotra creation. Manish wrote, “There is always a REKHA about our Iconic and Stunning Rekhaji, dressed in a handwoven Chartreuse Banarasi Kora silk sari with gold and silver zari accentuated with a delicate hint of pink.”

Rekha opted for a rich Banarasi saree that celebrated Indian craftsmanship. The chartreuse-hued saree came with a hint of gold and silver zari, as well as soft touches of pink. The saree was adorned with floral motifs all across its length and breadth. The actor paired this saree with a rani pink blouse, making for a striking contrast.
Staying true to her maximalist approach to fashion, Rekha opted for stunning gold traditional jewellery. She wore gold chandelier earrings and a thick stack of gold bangles. She slipped into a pair of ethnic gold wedge heels and carried a matching gold and yellow potli bag. For the glam, she went with her signature makeup look. She went with a matte base and added a hint of bronzer and contour for that warm bronzed look. She defined her eyes with a shimmery gold shade on her eyelids, winged eyeliner, faux eyelashes, and mascara. She added a hint of blush to her cheeks and finished it off with her signature matte red lip. She tied her hair in a bun and completed her elegant look.
